Refund and Cancellation for Student Cover
1. International Student Insurance
Bajaj Allianz: Cancellation policy for International Student Insurance is ₹250/- before your start date. However, if your insurance date has already started, then you can only cancel for the time left in your plan. Moreover, there is no look-up period provided in the plan.
ICICI Lombard: Cancellation policy for International Student Insurance is ₹300/- before your start date. Once your insurance date begins, then you can only cancel for the time left in your plan. Moreover, there is no look-up period provided in the plan.
2. Travel Insurance
Bajaj Allianz: Travel Insurance for international students is ₹250/- before your insurance start date. Once your insurance date begins, then you can only cancel for the time left in your plan. Moreover, there is no look-up period provided in the plan.
ICICI Lombard: Travel Insurance for international students id ₹300/- before your insurance start date. After your insurance starts, then you can only cancel for the time left in your plan. Moreover, there is no look-up period provided in the plan.
3. United Healthcare
For United Healthcare, the money is refunded under two circumstances
Waiver rejection
Visa rejection
The refund would happen on the same card through which the purchase was made. However, do remember that no money will be refunded for the insurance plan that has already been used.
4. Education Loan
In most cases, processing fees are non-refundable across education loan lenders. However, some lenders may offer a partial refund under specific conditions.
So before making any payment:
Carefully review the terms & conditions shared with you over email.
Pay special attention to refund clauses, processing timelines, and other fee-related policies.
When in doubt, reach out to your loan advisor for clarification before proceeding.
5. Study Abroad
For Study Abroad counselling, we do not charge any money from the student. Therefore, there are no refund policies involved in this case. However, in some cases, even if we do charge them an amount, it is non-refundable, as we charge the fees in installments.
This is because our team invests dedicated time, expertise, and personalized support at each stage. Once a stage begins, the effort and resources involved are committed and cannot be reversed or recovered. This ensures quality service and accountability throughout your admission journey.
For example:
Our counselling service is priced at ₹10,000 (incl. GST), split across key milestones:
₹3,000– At the start of the admission process
₹3,000– Upon receiving an offer letter from at least one German university
₹4,000– At the start of the education loan application
Therefore, All fees are Non-Refundable.
