University of California, Irvine (UCI), automatically enrolls students in its UC Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). Annual costs vary by program. Based on the latest officially published UCI data, undergraduate UC SHIP costs are generally in the several-thousand-dollar annual range, while graduate students paid approximately $6,847.26 annually during the latest published plan year. Official 2026–2027 fees are subject to change and should be verified through UCI resources. Certain medical and law programs may have higher premiums.

How to Waive UCI Health Insurance (SHIP)
